To top of the week of Graduation celebrations we ended in
Invercargill, where we had 7 families complete their training held at South Centre Anglican Care Charitable Trust.
This was a cluster group, compiled of families who couldn't attend the previous training's at schools, and families recommended by South Centre. It was a nice afternoon, with some excitement mixed in when the toasties in the oven set the fire alarm off.
This small group showed enormous commitment to the programme, and to upskilling themselves so that they could help their tamariki.
One keen learner remarked how much they had learnt from the 20 hours training, and they had made a brand new CV so they were now ready to take on the world.
